Some Frequently Asked Questions
1. How am I billed?
2CheckOut.com
Inc. (Ohio, USA) is an authorized retailer of goods and services provided
by Simply amazing software. You can pay with most credit cards, and there is an option to pay via e-check, but that will take longer to process.
Currently we do not offer alternatives to 2CheckOut for purchase.
For the monthly payment option, your credit card will be automatically billed each month - you can stop that at any time. If you choose the annual payment option this is a once-off payment and is not recurring - you will need to renew the subscription each year.
2. Do I get a refund if I cancel?
On the monthly plan if you cancel, we cease the automatic monthly deductions to your credit card with 2CheckOut, but you do not get a rebate for any unused weeks in the current month.
With the annual payment option, if you notify us you want to cancel your subscription we credit you for unused months, less a set-up fee equivalent to 2 months. So, if you cancel after 3 months, we rebate 7 months fees.
3. What does support cost, and how do we get it?
You do not pay any additional fees for support - support is included in your subscription fee.
Support is provided by way of e-mail in the first instance and phone if
we think it necessary. You can e-mail us from within the application by
going to the 'Help' section, or sending your e-mail to support@ticketydoo.com
and we will respond promptly.
4. We are a Not-For-Profit, do we get a discount?
No, sorry, not currently. We are trying to keep the fee costs down to the lowest level for everyone.
5. Is our data private?
Yes. Your copy of TicketyDoo is entirely separate, individual, and set up specifically for you - you do not share databases with any other client.
6. Where are your servers?
This web site is hosted by Pair.com with data center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The TicketyDoo application is hosted from our servers at ServInt with data center at McLean, Virginia. Both these providers are world class at what they do and are long established expert companies in this server business.
We use a specialist third party company to independently monitor server uptime and automatically notify us of any server or network outage.
7. Is our data backed up?
Yes, ServInt provides backups and in addition we use a third party company to do nightly off-site automatic backups which are stored in another city in the US on their server and can be recovered in an emergency.
8. Can we get our data out of the TicketyDoo application?
Yes, there is a very simple database export feature provided and accessible from the Admin menu. Data from each of the databases is exported in standard .csv format file structure.
This export function copies the data from the databases and provides a file you can save on your local computer - you can carry out this export function at any time.
9. What database does TicketyDoo use? Do we have to provide anything?
TicketyDoo use proprietry databases (eight of them for the application), and you do not need to provide anything - all you need to fully access the application is your standard web browser.
The only 'housekeeping' type database maintenance you do is to periodically re-index the databases for performance - this is initiated from the Admin area and is a simple 'one click' function.
10. Can we upgrade from one plan to another?
Yes, you can upgrade to make use of more features or even downgrade - just e-mail us and we'll arrange it - there is no interruption to your service.
11. Can we get a trial?
Due to the effort involved in preparing each copy of TicketyDoo, we do not offer trials except for the one everyone can log in to on this web site - most of the features are enabled in the demo.
Don't forget that you can always sign up and subscribe for the monthly arrangement and then cancel if you have no further use for the application.
12. Do you do any customization of the application?
Probably not at a price you would want to pay. We prefer to make product enhancements that everyone will be able to make use of. But if you have some special requirement that you think is currently not a feature, talk to us about it - maybe we'll think it's good enough that we would put it on our 'to do' list of enhancements.
And don't forget that there are already 'user definable' fields for some
screens that are available.
13. Can we import our list of Users or Assets into TicketyDoo?
Yes we can do that for you.
We provide an Excel 'template' for you to populate with your data and then send back to us - we then do the import procedure for you. There is a charge for this service - go >>here for more details and to download the template.
14. Do we get updates to TicketyDoo, and how much does that cost?
Yes you do get updates from time to time and there is no cost for these - they are done for free as part of your subscription.
15. Can we install TicketyDoo on our web server?
Yes you can.
We provide a 'perpetual license' arrangement whereby we supply the 'fully optioned' TicketyDoo application in an encrypted 'runtime' for you to load onto your web server. The cost for the self-host perpetual license copy of Tickety Doo is $1,900 and no further fees are payable. Go here to read further details.
16. Can we alter the look and colors of the TicketyDoo screens?
Yes you can.
TicketyDoo is completely CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) driven, and we will supply a copy of the CSS to you for you, or your web designers, to alter, and then we will upload your amended CSS file to our servers to be applied to you copy. A charge of one Support Credit applies for each upload/change.
17. How do we get more SMS cell phone call credits, or Support Credits?
Simply go here to purchase more.
18. Why do we sometimes see the 'Restart' page come up after we've had an inactive period?
In order to keep the number of 'active sessions' to the minimum required, the technology senses when a user hasn't actually 'used' any part of the program i.e. moved from the current page he/she is on, for a considerable period of time - in fact they've probably walked away from their computer and gone to lunch. In these circumstances the application is smart enough to auto-logoff that user.
19. What sort of 'up-time' can we expect?
You will experience very few outages - current 'up-time' is better than 99.99% and you can check server status by going here.
